The weed brush double (OKBD) from Kemp is designed for removing weeds. The hydraulically driven brush effectively removes the weeds. The weed brush is suitable for (mini) loader, (mini) excavator, tractor, and forklift.

Construction
Due to changes in legislation regarding the use of chemical agents for weed control, Kemp has developed a weed brush. This weed brush removes weeds in an environmentally friendly way and provides a good alternative to the use of chemical agents.
The double weed brush (OKBD) is equipped with two hydraulically powered brushes. The rotating motion of the brushes mechanically loosens weeds from the surface. By using two brushes, a larger area can be brushed in the same amount of time, resulting in higher capacity and more efficient operation.
The brushes rotate in the same direction, causing debris to be pushed to one side. This ensures a neat and controlled cleaning of the surface.
The weed brush features a pivoting construction, allowing both brushes to independently follow the ground contour. This ensures that the brushes maintain proper contact with the surface and eliminates the need to adjust the height for unevenness of approximately ± 15 cm. At the same time, the angle of the brushes can be adjusted by raising or lowering the frame, enabling a more or less aggressive operation.
The double weed brush is available in a fixed version and a hydraulically swiveling version.
The fixed version is mainly intended for use with a mobile crane. In the hydraulically swiveling version, the pivot point is positioned close to the vehicle, allowing for a large swivel range of approximately 70 degrees to the left and right. As a result, the weed brush can be positioned far to the side of the vehicle while maintaining a clear view of the brushes during operation.
For severe contamination, the brushes can be fully swiveled, allowing the use of two brushes in tandem. This makes the operation more aggressive and enables faster work.
The OKBD is equipped with two brushes with a diameter of 750 mm. The OKBD is standardly equipped with 36 steel cable tufts, but it is also possible to opt for leaf steel. The weight of the double weed brush is approximately 300 kg.
Version
The double weed brush (OKBD) can be attached to a (mini) loader, (mini) crane, tractor, or forklift, provided the minimum oil flow is 40 liters per minute and the machine has a pressure-free return line.
The hydraulic version comes standard with interchangeable plates.

Explanation of options:
OKBF: Swingable rubber flap
The weed brush can optionally be equipped with a rubber flap to contain loose weeds and dirt. (See image) The rubber flap is adjustable in multiple positions and can be used on both sides.
OKBE: Electric control of rotation and swiveling
With this option, the rotation of the brush and the swiveling of the weed brush can be controlled electrically. Using an electric switch, it is easy to switch between these functions without requiring multiple hydraulic functions on the vehicle.
OKBJ: Joystick with magnetic base and cable for operation
With this option, the weed brush is equipped with a joystick for operating the machine's additional functions. The joystick is equipped with a magnetic base, allowing it to be easily mounted in a suitable location in the cabin. The operation is cable-based, ensuring reliable and direct control of the functions.
OKBD1000: Steel cable brush with a diameter of 1,000 mm, 44 bundles
With this option, the weed brush is equipped with steel cable brushes with a diameter of 1,000 mm, featuring 44 bundles. The larger diameter provides a greater reach and a longer brush life, as they wear out less quickly.
