Description Specifications

Construction
The mechanically swiveling weed brush (OKBM) is equipped with a mechanically swiveling design, with the pivot point positioned close to the vehicle. This allows for a large swiveling range of approximately 70 degrees to the left and right. The brush can be manually set in five different positions and locked in the desired position.

Thanks to this design, the brush can be positioned far from the vehicle, enabling precise work along edges, sidewalks, walls, and other obstacles. Additionally, clear visibility of the brush is maintained during operation.

The weed brush is hydraulically powered. The rotating motion of the brush mechanically dislodges weeds from the surface.

The weed brush features a pendulum construction, ensuring that the brush follows the ground contours. This maintains good contact between the brush and the surface, and it is unnecessary to adjust the height when dealing with uneven areas of approximately ± 15 cm. At the same time, the angle of the brush can be adjusted by raising or lowering the frame, allowing for more or less aggressive operation.

The OKBM is equipped with a single brush comprising 44 steel cable bundles and has a diameter of 750 mm. The weight of the weed brush is approximately 200 kg.

Design
The mechanically swiveling weed brush (OKBM) can be attached to a (mini) loader, (mini) excavator, tractor, or forklift, provided the minimum oil flow is 25 liters per minute.

The OKBM is standardly delivered with interchangeable plates.

See the specifications section for more information and the available options.

Explanation of options:

OKBF: Swiveling rubber flap

The weed brush can optionally be equipped with a rubber flap to block loose weed and debris. (See image) The rubber flap is adjustable in multiple positions and can be used on both sides.

OKBVA800/1000: Extended arm (1,000 / 800 mm instead of 650 mm)

The weed brush can optionally be equipped with an extended arm of 1,000 or 800 mm instead of the standard 650 mm. With this extended arm, the brush can be positioned further away from the vehicle, providing a larger range during operation. This is especially useful for brushing along edges, curbs, walls, or other obstacles where extra distance between the vehicle and the work area is desired. (See image)

OKBKM: Mechanical adjustment tilting head

This option allows the brush to be mechanically tilted up to 15 degrees to the left or right. Tilting the brush enables more aggressive surface contact, making it more effective in removing stubborn weeds. The tilt angle can be easily adjusted mechanically to multiple positions. (See image)

OKBKH: Hydraulic adjustment tilting head

This option allows the brush to be hydraulically tilted up to 15 degrees to the left or right. This enables easy adjustment of the brush operation during work without the operator having to dismount. Hydraulic tilting allows the brush to work more aggressively on the surface, effectively removing stubborn weeds. (See image)

OKB1000: Steel cable brush diameter 1,000 mm, 44 bundles (Min. oil flow: 30 L.)

With this option, the weed brush is equipped with a steel cable brush with a diameter of 1,000 mm, featuring 44 bundles. The larger diameter ensures a greater range and a longer lifespan of the brush, as it wears less quickly. For proper functioning, this brush requires a minimum oil flow of 30 liters per minute.

OKBNY750: Nylon brush diameter 750 mm, 20 replaceable tufts (Min. oil flow: 25 L)

With this option, the weed brush is equipped with a nylon brush with a diameter of 750 mm, featuring 20 replaceable tufts. The main advantage of this configuration is that individual tufts can be easily replaced when worn, keeping maintenance costs low and prolonging the brush’s lifespan. For proper functioning, this brush requires a minimum oil flow of 25 liters per minute.

OKBNY1000: Nylon brush diameter 1,000 mm, 24 replaceable tufts (Min. oil flow: 30 L)

With this option, the weed brush is equipped with a nylon brush with a diameter of 1,000 mm, featuring 24 replaceable tufts. The advantage of replaceable tufts is that worn parts can be easily replaced individually, reducing maintenance costs and extending the brush’s lifespan. For proper functioning, this brush requires a minimum oil flow of 30 liters per minute.

OKBSU: Spray / mist unit

The spray unit is an additional feature for the weed brush, allowing water to be sprayed onto the work area during brushing. Wetting the surface reduces dust formation and prevents loose weeds and debris from blowing away. Additionally, the water helps to loosen stubborn dirt and weeds, improving the brush’s effectiveness and yielding a cleaner result.

DL: Pressure-free return connection

A pressure-free return connection ensures that hydraulic oil can flow back to the vehicle without resistance. This prevents overheating of the hydraulic system and reduces wear on the hydraulic motor.

OKBO: Overpressure / after-running valve

This option equips the weed brush with an overpressure and after-running valve. This valve protects the hydraulic system from excessive pressure and ensures controlled deceleration of the brush after the hydraulic system is shut off.

OKBE: Electric operation for rotation and tilting

With this option, it is possible to switch between the brush’s pendulum movement and its rotation using just one hydraulic function. Through an electric switch, it is easy to toggle between these functions without requiring an additional hydraulic connection on the vehicle. This option is only available in combination with the OKBKH option (hydraulic adjustment tilting head).

OKBJ: Joystick with magnetic base and cable for operation

With this option, the weed brush is equipped with a joystick for operating the machine's additional functions. The joystick features a magnetic base, allowing it to be conveniently attached to a suitable location in the cabin. The operation is controlled via a cable, providing reliable and direct command of the functions.Â
