The weed brush star (OKBS) from Kemp is designed for removing weeds. The hydraulically driven brush effectively removes weeds. The weed brush is suitable for (mini)shovel, (mini)crane, tractor, and forklift.

Construction
Due to changes in legislation regarding the use of chemical agents for weed control, Kemp has developed a weed brush. This weed brush removes weeds in an environmentally friendly manner and serves as a good alternative to the use of pesticides.
The weed brush is hydraulically powered. Through the rotating motion of the brush, weeds are mechanically loosened from the surface.
The weed brush features a pendulum construction, ensuring the brush follows the ground. As a result, height correction is not required for uneven surfaces of approximately ± 15 cm. At the same time, the angle of the brush can be adjusted by raising or lowering the frame, allowing for more or less aggressive operation.
The OKBS is equipped with one 750 mm steel cable brush. With this rigid weed brush, the brush can be positioned off-center from the vehicle, ensuring a clear view of the brush during operation.
The weight of the rigid weed brush is approximately 200 kg.
Implementation
The rigid weed brush (OKBS) can be attached to a (mini) shovel, (mini) excavator, tractor, or forklift, provided the minimum oil output is 25 liters per minute.
The OKBS is available with mounting parts suited to your vehicle.

Option descriptions:
OKBF: swivel rubber flap
The weed brush can optionally be equipped with a rubber flap to block loose weeds and debris. (See image) The rubber flap is adjustable in multiple positions and can be used on both sides.
OKBVA800/1000: extended arm
The weed brush can optionally be equipped with an extended arm of 1,000 or 800 mm instead of the standard 650 mm. With this extended arm, the brush can be placed further from the vehicle, allowing for a larger reach during operation. This is particularly useful when brushing along edges, sidewalks, walls, or other obstacles where additional distance between the vehicle and the work area is desired. (See image)
OKBKM: mechanical tilt head adjustment
With this option, the brush can be mechanically tilted up to 15 degrees to the left or right. Tilting the brush allows it to work more aggressively on the surface, making it more effective at removing stubborn weeds. The tilt angle can be easily mechanically adjusted to multiple positions. OKBKH: hydraulic tilt head adjustment
With this option, the brush can be hydraulically tilted up to 15 degrees to the left or right. This allows the brush operation to be easily adjusted during work without the operator having to step off the vehicle. Hydraulic tilting enables the brush to be used more aggressively on the surface, making it more effective at removing stubborn weeds. (See image)
OKB1000: steel cable brush with a diameter of 1,000 mm
With this option, the weed brush is equipped with a steel cable brush with a diameter of 1,000 mm, consisting of 44 bundles. The larger diameter provides a greater reach and a longer lifespan for the brush, as it wears out less quickly. For proper functioning, this brush requires a minimum oil flow of 30 liters per minute.
OKBNY750: nylon brush diameter 750 mm
With this option, the weed brush is equipped with a nylon brush with a diameter of 750 mm, consisting of 20 replaceable bundles. The big advantage of this design is that individual bundles can be replaced easily when worn, keeping maintenance costs lower and extending the brush's usage life. For proper functioning, this brush requires a minimum oil flow of 25 liters per minute.
OKBNY1000: nylon brush diameter 1,000 mm
With this option, the weed brush is equipped with a nylon brush with a diameter of 1,000 mm, consisting of 24 replaceable bundles. The advantage of replaceable bundles is that worn parts can be individually replaced easily, reducing maintenance costs and extending the brush's lifespan. For proper functioning, this brush requires a minimum oil flow of 30 liters per minute.
OKBSU: spray / mist unit
The spray unit is an additional feature for the weed brush that allows water to be sprayed on the work area during brushing. Moistening the surface reduces dust formation and prevents loose weeds and debris from blowing away. Additionally, water can help to loosen stubborn dirt and weeds more effectively, improving the brush's performance and achieving neater results.
DL: pressure-free return
A pressure-free return connection ensures that hydraulic oil can flow back to the vehicle without resistance. This prevents overheating of the hydraulic system and reduces wear on the hydraulic motor.
OKBO: overpressure / free-run valve
With this option, the weed brush is equipped with an overpressure and free-run valve. This valve protects the hydraulic system from excessive pressure and ensures that the brush can decelerate smoothly after the hydraulics are turned off.
