The Kemp Single Silage Pusher (VBE) is designed for efficiently pushing feed towards the feeding area in the barn. Thanks to the swivelling function, the silage pusher can work on both the left and right side, making it ideal for livestock farmers who want to work flexibly on both sides. The machine is available in several versions and can be easily attached to a tractor, telehandler or (mini) wheel loader.
Advantages
Construction
The VBE is built around a tractor tyre mounted on a galvanised star with wheel hub. This construction allows the tyre to rotate freely and move the feed easily towards the feed barrier.
Because the tyre is mounted at an angle to the frame, the feed is automatically pushed towards the feed barrier while driving.
Operation
The swivelling function of the Single Silage Pusher is operated by one double-acting hydraulic cylinder. This allows the silage pusher to work to both the left and right, so feed can be pushed up on both sides of the feeding passage while driving in the same direction.
Attachment
The Single Silage Pusher can be supplied with a three-point linkage (VBE3) or with attachment hooks for a (mini) wheel loader, telehandler or tractor (VBE). The VBE comes standard with interchangeable mounting plates, onto which the appropriate attachment hooks are mounted.
Versions
The Single Silage Pusher comes standard with a retractable support leg, allowing it to stand securely when not attached and making it easy to connect to a quick coupler.
In addition to the standard version, a heavy-duty version is also available: the VBEZ. This version uses a reinforced star with a 6-hole hub and is equipped with two double-acting cylinders and two pivot points, allowing higher forces to be absorbed more effectively.
See the Specifications section for more information.
The VBE is available in different types. The main differences per type are shown in the table below.
