Silage scraper rotatable (KSD)

The rotating silage scraper (KSD) from Kemp is designed for efficiently pushing sand away from the silage clamp. With the KSD, the scraper blade can be pivoted 90 degrees to the left and right, allowing every corner of the silage clamp to be reached. The silage scraper is robustly constructed, available in several lengths, and suitable for use with a wheel loader, telehandler, or tractor.

Advantages

  • Scraper blade pivots 90° to the left and right for maximum flexibility
  • Robust pivoting construction for intensive use
  • Designed for efficient and fast operation on the silage clamp
  • Long reach for effective movement of sand

Description Specifications

Construction
The KSD is built around a strong frame with a rotating scraper blade. The scraper blade can rotate up to 90 degrees to the left and right.

The pivot point consists of a heavy-duty pivot with PTFE-coated bearing bushes, ensuring smooth operation and a long service life.

The tube of the scraper blade has a diameter of approximately 76 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm, resulting in a strong and durable construction suitable for intensive use.

Operation
During operation, the sand is pushed further onto the silage clamp or moved sideways using the silage scraper. Because the scraper blade can rotate, the working direction can easily be changed without repositioning the vehicle.

This allows efficient operation, especially in confined spaces or in situations where work needs to be carried out from multiple angles.

The KSD is designed without hydraulics. This allows the machine to be used without having to leave the vehicle, resulting in a simple and efficient working method.

Versions
The rotating silage scraper (KSD) is available in several versions. The KSDS is suitable for mini wheel loaders, while the KSDL is suitable for larger wheel loaders, tractors, and telehandlers.

The KSD is supplied as standard with interchangeable mounting plates.

See the Specifications section for more information.

The KSD is available in different versions. The table below shows the differences between each version.

Types Version Length Scraper blade width Scraper blade height
KSDS Light  1,600 mm 1,000 mm 500 mm
KSDL Heavy 2,200 mm 1,600 mm 700 mm
