With this scraper the sand can be shove and also pushed to the side. Because the rubber is placed far from the coupling point, the slide can reach on the silage pit. This large distance is the big difference with respect to the Terrain and Road Scrapers. However, the KSDW can still be used as a terrain scraper, for example to keep the yard mud and snow free.
Advantages
Construction
The silage clamp scraper is built around a strong frame with a heavy-duty beam fitted with a rubber strip. This beam can tilt relative to the frame, allowing the scraper to follow the surface and ensuring even wear of the rubber.
The rubber strip is supplied without steel reinforcement. The KSDWL is supplied with a 500 mm high rubber strip. This rubber strip has several mounting holes, allowing it to be turned around or lowered when one side is worn.
The scraper can be hydraulically pivoted to the left and right by means of two heavy-duty cylinders. This allows the sand to be moved in a controlled manner during operation.
In addition, the machine is equipped as standard with pressure relief protection, which protects the cylinders in the event of sudden loads or when the scraper hits an obstacle.
The KSDW can also be used as a yard scraper, for example for keeping the yard clean or for removing mud and snow. This makes the machine highly versatile for use in and around the farm or company premises.
Versions
The pushing silage clamp scraper (KSDW) is available in several versions, depending on the vehicle and application. The scraper is supplied as standard with interchangeable mounting plates.
The KSDWS is suitable for mini wheel loaders, while the KSDWL is suitable for larger wheel loaders, tractors, and telehandlers.
See the Specifications section for more information and available options.
The KSDW is available in different versions. The table below shows the differences between each version.
| Types | Length | Rubber length | Rubber height | Rubber thickness |
| KSWDS | 1,600 mm | 2,200 mm | 400 mm | 40 mm |
| KSDWL | 2,000 mm | 2,800 mm | 500 mm | 50 mm |
