The left and right working silage scraper is suitable for sliding a layer of sand from the silage pit. The centre of the scraper is far from the heart of the vehicle, so the sand can be removed far on the pit. The sliding scraper is designed with heavy hollow sections including a rubber strip, so that the covering sheet is not damaged. The rubber strip is 1,400 mm long.
Advantages
The pivoting design allows the machine to work both to the left and right, making it easy to push the material to the desired side.
The centre of the scraper is positioned far from the centreline of the vehicle, allowing sand to be removed from far across the silage clamp. This makes it possible to clear the silage clamp effectively while keeping the work safe and well organised.
Construction
The KSLR is constructed from a heavy-duty box-section beam with a 1,400 mm long rubber strip at the end. This rubber strip prevents damage to the covering film while pushing the sand.
The scraper is hydraulically pivoted by means of a double-acting cylinder, allowing easy operation to both the left and right. In addition, the machine is equipped as standard with pressure relief protection, which protects the cylinder if the scraper hits an obstacle.
The pivot point is fitted with two PTFE slide bushes positioned far apart. This allows the pivot point to withstand high loads and makes the construction suitable for intensive use.
Operation
During operation, sand or residual material is pushed off the silage clamp using the scraper. Because the scraper pivots across the front of the vehicle, pushing can already begin before the vehicle is positioned completely perpendicular to the silage clamp.
This makes the machine particularly suitable for use in confined spaces or with narrow silage clamps, where manoeuvring can be difficult. The pivoting design allows the material to be moved in a controlled manner to either the left or right.
Version
The pivoting silage clamp scraper (KSLR) is available in different versions, depending on the required length and application.
The KSLRS is suitable for mini wheel loaders, while the KSLRL is suitable for larger wheel loaders and tractors.
