Hydraulically driven silage distributor (KVH)

The hydraulic silage distributor (KVH) from Kemp is designed for spreading large quantities of silage grass. The distributor is hydraulically powered with two rotors, ensuring the grass is evenly distributed. This model is suitable for use with loaders and has a working width of 2.80 m.

Construction
The hydraulically driven silage distributor (KVH) is constructed with a heavy-duty frame featuring an integrated grass fork and two hydraulically driven rotors, allowing large amounts of silage grass to be distributed quickly and evenly over the silage pit.

The silage distributor is hydraulically powered by two hydraulic motors. The rotors are slightly tilted, which helps distribute the silage grass better to the sides. This makes building the clamp easier and ensures the sides can be compacted more effectively.

The rotors of the silage distributor are foldable and are positioned between the grass fork and the attachment parts of the loader. This design allows the rotor working width to be increased while keeping the transport width limited. This ensures the machine can work broadly on the silage clamp yet remains narrow during road transport.

The hydraulic silage distributor is equipped with foldable rubber flaps on both sides. These rubber flaps ensure that the silage grass stays within the working width and is not thrown too far outward. The rubber flaps are hydraulically extendable and retractable, with a working width of approximately 4,200 mm to 5,400 mm. Since the rubber flaps are foldable, the silage distributor can also be effectively used in a trench silo.

The machine is equipped with robust tines on the grass fork with a diameter of approximately Ø50 mm and a working length of about 800 mm, allowing the silage grass to be collected and distributed stably.

The hydraulic silage distributor has a transport width of approximately 2,550 mm and a working width of approximately 3,200 mm with the rotors.

The net weight of the hydraulic silage distributor is approximately 2,000 kg.

A minimum oil flow rate of approximately 80 liters per minute at 200 bar is required for proper operation.

Features
The hydraulic silage distributor (KVH) is suitable for use with loaders and is supplied as standard with mounting parts for Werklust or Volvo.

See the specifications section for more information and available options.

The KVBH can be expanded with options, depending on the type of vehicle.

Options Description
KVH2 Hydromotors with 2 speeds, electrically controlled
KVH 8/3 8/3 control valve
KVHV Extra valve for operation with 1 double-acting function
KVHR Radio remote control

Explanation of options:

KVH2: With this option, the two hydromotors can be electrically switched between two speeds. This allows the working speed to be adjusted to the amount of grass and the desired distribution.

KVH 8/3: An 8/3 valve is a hydraulic valve that allows multiple functions to be operated individually and in a controlled manner. This provides more flexibility and ease of use for machines with multiple hydraulic functions.

With the KVHB, a single control can be used to choose between folding and unfolding the rubber flaps and extending and retracting the flaps.

KVHV: With this option, the rotors and extra functions of the silage distributor can be operated with one double-acting hydraulic function. The extra valve distributes the oil flow, allowing multiple functions to be controlled easily and precisely.

KVHR: With this option, the silage distributor can be operated remotely. This allows the operator to control the machine's functions easily and accurately, providing greater comfort, safety, and control during operation.
