The Kemp Deep Litter Rake (DSV) is designed for levelling deep-bedded cubicles. In a single pass, the ridge of bedding underneath the floating cubicle divider is pushed back into the lying area, creating a more even and softer bed that can dry more effectively. The Deep Litter Rake is suitable for different types of bedding material and is available in two versions.
Advantages
Construction
The Deep Litter Rake is suitable for various bedding materials such as separated manure solids, compost, chopped straw and sand. By regularly moving and levelling the bedding, an even layer remains in the cubicle, reducing the need for frequent refilling. This helps save bedding material.
The Deep Litter Rake can be used on both the left and right side with one double-acting cylinder. By retracting the cylinder, the rake is folded up and the Deep Litter Rake is placed in transport position. The rake is locked in both the transport and working position and can be used for pushing and, if required, pulling. The rake is swivelled using the wheel loader’s tilting function. Because the rake can be used on both sides of the vehicle, there is no need to turn the machine around.
Versions
The Deep Litter Rake is available in two types: the DSV and DSVZ.
The DSV is suitable for mini wheel loaders with a maximum vehicle width of 1,600 mm.
The DSVZ is suitable for larger wheel loaders with a vehicle width of more than 1,600 mm up to a maximum of 2,400 mm.
The Deep Litter Rake comes standard with interchangeable mounting plates.

Explanation of options:
DSVR: it is possible to equip the deep bedding leveler with a manure slide, which allows grates or the waiting area to be easily cleaned. During sliding, the rake can be adjusted in height, ensuring the slide follows the ground effectively.
For the DSVR version, the width of the rubber is approximately 1,800 mm. This option is only available for the DSV type.
