Construction
The standard round bale clamp (BKRO) features a robust construction with clamping arms shaped to the radius of the bale. This allows the bale to be clamped over its full surface and helps prevent damage to the film.
The bale clamp is designed for lifting and moving round bales and is suitable for use with wheel loaders, telehandlers and tractors.
The clamping arms are made from Ø60 mm tubing with a wall thickness of 6.3 mm. The clamping arms have a height of approximately 950 mm, allowing the pressure to be distributed evenly across the bale.
The bale clamp is equipped with four cylinders, ensuring stable clamping and an even distribution of clamping force across the entire bale.
The cylinders are mounted on the outside of the bale clamp, reducing the load on the pivot points and limiting wear. The cylinders are mounted in slotted holes, allowing the clamping arms to move slightly. This makes it easier to place bales, even when no hydraulic pressure is present.
Thanks to the short overall length of the bale clamp, the weight remains close to the vehicle, improving lifting capacity and stability during operation.
The standard round bale clamp has a clamping range of approximately 700 to 1,600 mm and a maximum opening of 1,900 mm.
The bale clamp is suitable for bales weighing up to approximately 1,800 kg.
The standard round bale clamp has an empty weight of approximately 295 kg.

The standard round bale clamp (BKRO) is available in two versions. The bale clamp comes standard with hoses, a pilot-operated check valve and a male coupling. It is also supplied with attachment hooks suitable for your vehicle.
